Operation Specialist Program
This program was started in 2009 and is designed to promote the professional development of the operations team in Member-Distributors. This training is designed to increase the knowledge and efficiency of professionals who are in key supporting roles and are a vital part of an organization’s success.
To complete this training, an individual must complete 120.5 hours of training in areas such as human resources, finance and administration, business management and industry-specific training.

Safety Specialist Program
Safety on the job site is becoming more important each day. Many Evergreen members have dedicated safety specialists who concentrate solely on this growing market. In an effort to help support Evergreen members who may not have a dedicated safety specialist on staff, the Evergreen Training & Education Committee has developed a new program that focuses on safety related products and procedures. This new program provides in-depth training on all the major safety products Evergreen members carry and sell on a daily basis.
To complete this training individuals must complete 70 hours of specialized training related to safety products and applications.

- 38 Hours of Supplier-sponsored Training
Tool Specialist Program
Evergreen’s original certification program was started in 2004. Since then, more than 500 individuals have received this certification. The program consists of hands-on product and application training, selling skills programs and other workshops geared toward the tool and fastener distributor.
To earn this certification, Evergreen sales professionals must complete 137.5 hours of product, applications and selling skills training. Once an individual receives this certification, they earn the right to wear a custom Evergreen ring or gold watch.
