ChemMasters is a specialized manufacturer of concrete coatings and chemicals. Every product from ChemMasters is for the improvement, repair or protection of concrete or masonry.
Started as the Jeremiah T. Murphy Company in 1890 as a manufacturer of commercial soaps and lubricants, eventually being renamed the Murphy Phoenix Company. The company introduced their most recognized product, Murphy’s Oil Soap, in 1910. The Spray Cure Company began as a brand of highway cures produced by Murphy Phoenix in 1957. Product developments and acquisitions added cures and sealers, water repellants, densifiers, repair mortars, grouts and pigmented coatings to the product line. In 1987 the company name was changed to ChemMasters to better reflect the broad range of products available.
ChemMasters is wholly owned by the Murphy family, now in its 6th generation of continuous ownership.
